HPI Racing WR8 Flux WR8 Flux 1996 Ford Escort RS Cosworth (HP160558)

We €™re excited to introduce the latest addition to the popular WR8 family: the iconic 1996 Ford Escort RS Cosworth! With its classic Orange, Red, and White Repsol livery, this rally legend is instantly recognizable to fans and stands as one of the most celebrated liveries of its era. What better way to expand the fan-favorite WR8 platform than with this timeless Group A Ford Escort RS Cosworth!

Underneath the officially licensed and famous replica Ford Escort body, the WR8 FLUX chassis is based on the HPI Bullet RC monster truck, which means it"s massively tough and can take a real beating on- or off-road! The WR8 FLUX is powered by a massive 3700KV brushless motor and waterproof 3S-capable speed controller, delivering power through tough metal gear differentials and the fully ball-bearing-supported 4WD shaft drivetrain of the Bullet monster truck.

With authentic rally suspension geometry, oil-filled dampers, and extra-thick sway bars, you €™ll enjoy exceptional control, whether on dirt or tarmac. Plus, high-spec soft compound tires and genuine rally wheels ensure your ride not only performs but turns heads wherever you go!

The HPI Racing WR8 is packed with features designed to enhance durability, whether you"re tearing up the track or hitting rugged terrain. It includes high-ground clearance, a skid plate, foam front bumper, optimized rally-style suspension geometry, shock debris guards, mud deflectors, and much more. This is the perfect machine for racing friends on RC Rally-style courses, multi-surface tracks, or anywhere your adventures take you!

WR8 FLUX 1996 Ford Escort Cosworth RTR

True to the heritage and design of the Escort RS Cosworth, the WR8 chassis underneath that iconic shape features a high-performance and fully adjustable 4WD drivetrain and independent double wishbone suspension front and rear. Even the differentials front, rear and center can be adjusted to suit the terrain!
The WR8 means business out on the rally circuit! It all starts with that 3mm thick aluminum chassis with front and rear chassis braces, for a super-solid foundation. Of course it €™s fully countersunk underneath to help it glide over jumps and terrain!

To get the power to the ground, the WR8 uses an all-wheel drive system featuring a center differential spinning driveshafts leading to the front and rear differentials. That €™s right, THREE differentials, just like a modern RC racing buggy, all of which can be adjusted for your preferred driving style and terrain. Of course, everything in the drivetrain spins on sealed ball bearings to maximise efficiency and keep things running as smooth as that rear wing!
