Description
Now with oil-filled shocks, high-quality Spektrum™ electronics, and three fresh colour options, the Axial® SCX24™ Ford Bronco RTR delivers even better value and performance in an officially licensed, 1/24 scale rig that you can run almost anywhere
Ford Motor Company produced five generations of its successful first SUV, the Bronco, between 1966 and 1996. Twenty-five years later, a sixth generation quickly re-established the 2021 Ford Bronco as one of the auto industry’s premier off-road vehicles.
With its proven performance on indoor and outdoor trails, the Axial® 1/24 scale SCX24™ is the ideal platform for bringing the Ford Bronco to Ford fans and RC crawling enthusiasts of all ages. Everyone will admire the scale realism of its officially licensed, highly detailed hard body -complete with moulded door handles, mirrors, roof rails, and a mounted spare tyre.
"Complete" also accurately describes the Axial SCX24 Ford Bronco ready-to-run package. Inside the box you’ll find the fully assembled rig plus everything required for operation, all at one affordable price. For even greater value, Axial now includes top-of-the-line Spektrum™ electronics and plush, oil-filled shocks that provide stable handling over the roughest terrain.
The SCX24 Bronco chassis meets every on- and off-road driving challenge with full-time 4-wheel drive, a trail-taming 3-link front/4-link rear suspension, and much more. Rugged and realistic steel C-channel frame rails stand up to hard knocks. Worm gears on the axles increase ground clearance. Steel front and rear axles, front stub axles, and steel dogbones let you crawl and climb with confidence. A Dynamiteâ„¢ 88-turn brushed motor sends ample power to officially licensed wheels and high-grip Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tyres.
Ready for an adventure? You can start yours almost immediately. The Axial SCX24 Ford Bronco RTR comes with everything you need - a Spektrum SLT2™ 2.4GHz radio, Spektrum 350mAh 2S 30C 7.4V LiPo battery, handy Spektrum USB LiPo charger, and four AA batteries for the transmitter. Just pick your favorite of the three new body colour options and choose your trail. The SCX24 Bronco is a must for Ford enthusiasts, and an essential addition to every Axial fan’s fleet!
The Axial SCX24 Ford Bronco achieves a high level of scale realism with its officially licensed, exceptionally detailed, extra-durable hard body with moulded door handles, mirrors, and roof rails. There’s also a mounted spare tyre.
Complementing the exceptional detail of the scale hard body, Axial has outfitted the SCX24 Ford Bronco with officially licensed Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tyres. They offer a fantastic blend of off-road performance while retaining excellent composure for on-road use.
The Spektrum SLT2 2-channel radio system offers high-end features such as throttle/steering travel adjust and throttle limiting. The RTR package also includes AA transmitter batteries.
Just like the 1/10 scale SCX10 platform, the SCX24 chassis features rugged and sturdy steel C-channel frame rails with bracing to keep everything intact and aligned.
The included Dynamite 88T brushed motor provides the right amount of torque for making steep climbs. It's mated to a steel motor mount to keep flex to a minimum and protect the gears.
Just because the SCX24 is small doesn't mean its features follow suit. There are no bushings here - the drivetrain spins freely on sealed cartridge bearings throughout the entyre vehicle.
The front and rear axles consist of a two piece, moulded composite solid axle design. For optimal handling, the SCX24 suspension features a three-link front and four-link rear setup.
Steel front and rear axles, front stub axles and steel dogbones provide the strength needed to keep running with confidence during tough climbs and over rough trails.
The front and rear drive shafts are splined and sleeved to allow for maximum suspension travel while keeping the power to the wheels.
The rear suspension geometry uses a 4-link design which is optimized to reduce axle steer and torque twist.
For maximum realism, working lights are included on the front corners of the scale Ford Bronco body and in the front bumper. All four corners of the body feature moulded lenses.
Oil-filled shocks allow the suspension to articulate smoothly over rough terrain. You can adjust the preload to fine-tune your rig for your handling needs.
A new body mounting system allows fast, easy access to the chassis for battery replacement and general maintenance.
