ARRMA TYPHON GROM 223S BLX Small Scale RC Buggy RTR Overview
ARRMA raised the performance of low-cost, small-scale RC buggies to the next level with the fast, tough TYPHON GROM. Agile and responsive like the 1/8 scale TYPHON, the little GROM goes places that bigger buggies can't, allowing anyone to enjoy amped-up ARRMA bashing almost anywhere. Now ARRMA introduces the brushless TYPHON GROM 223S BLX – and for new drivers who have big plans for the future, it's the best choice of basher to grow on.
No one wants to make compromises in their first RC vehicle. That's why ARRMA developed the 223S series. You don't have to accept limited capabilities to get a low price. You don't have to break your budget to get performance that grows with your experience. You can have it ALL – low cost, legendary toughness, and the ability to advance from 2S into 3S power – in one buggy with the TYPHON GROM 223S BLX.
Using a 2S LiPo battery, the TYPHON GROM 223S BLX offers comfortable, beginner-friendly speeds that match or beat other manufacturers' 2S bashers. When you've gained some skills, drop in a 3S battery. Now your TYPHON GROM 223S BLX can unleash thrilling top speeds of 50 mph or more!
Advance into faster speeds and higher performance without having to buy a new model or make expensive upgrades to reach 3S specs. Those upgrades are already included and installed, adding to the exceptional value of the TYPHON GROM 223S BLX buggy's low price. What's more, when you first step up to 3S power, the TYPHON GROM 223S BLX has special features that ease you into the upper reaches of its incredible 20 to 50+ mph speed range.
One of those features is the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) built into the buggy's Spektrum electronics. With four selectable modes, DSC will automatically correct steering input as needed to improve your control, confidence, and safety, whether you're bashing on high-grip or low-grip surfaces. As you gain experience, just turn off the DSC and succeed with the skills you've learned.
Another aid for developing drivers is the throttle limiting feature of the included Spektrum SLT2 2-channel transmitter. With a 2S or 3S battery installed, it can help you learn control skills safely by limiting the buggy's maximum available speed to 50% or 75% until you're ready for it all. Throttle limiting, DSC, and your choice of battery all work together so you'll never worry about moving faster than you can manage. Driving the TYPHON GROM 223S BLX, anyone can make the transition from 2S to 3S speeds with absolute confidence.
Bring the small-scale TYPHON GROM 223S BLX with you to the office and do some bashing on your breaks. Slip it into your backpack, head to the local skate park, dirt field, or even your backyard, and put some extra polish on your skills. Whether you're a young beginner or an experienced RC driver, the TYPHON GROM 223S BLX easily fits time for ARRMA RC bashing into your busy life. It's tough, fast, and conveniently small.
ARRMA has solved the most difficult choice facing anyone buying their first RC bashing buggy. Why make compromises? Get everything you want – affordability, easy control, and advanced capabilities – with ready-to-run TYPHON GROM 223S BLX.
